I'm bored and tired. I just got back from a bowling field trip at school. I don't know what throwing around balls, making ball jokes, dancing and eating pizza has to do with academics, but apparently it does. The connection is thin.
Soon we're going to a big Pfizer thing too! W00t.
^_^ Today was a good day.

WHOO! I am ungrounded. I just spent the last 5½ years grounded, and let me tell you. I feel GREAT.
Sunday was my birthday. XD I’ve been so excited about turning 14 that I changed my userinfo like, a MONTH early and stuff. Here I am, writing this as I am 14. I have to tell you that in the past, I usually feel exactly the same on my birthday, but I really do feel older this time. I don’t know why—maybe it’s part of the whole jumping a grade thing, too? (Which is a long story. I say I failed, but really, I missed a year of school.) I really cleaned up. I got cool candy things, stuffed animals, money, beads and even cooler—A MAH-JONGG HALTER TOP. XD; It’s so cool. I also got an “N” for my door. It’s wooden. I was like, “WHOA!” I thought it was so sweet that Lisa gave me an N for Nasta.
So, yeah. Right now I’m loaded with cash. XD I am so rich right now… I love being a teen.
Lately I haven’t been doing much. Just obsessing over band. ^_^ We’re getting ready for band festival. It’s so exciting. The schools are graded—AA through, like, D—by size and then you play three pieces you’ve put together and 2 pieces you’ve never seen before. You spend 7 minutes going over them, and then you play. The band director can do anything he wants—he can shout, sing the music, ignore you, jump up and down. But you can’t PLAY it. Then the judges score you—1 being the best, 5 being the worst. What’s REALLY neat is that all the people who get 1’s get to go on to go play at the state level. I doubt that will happen to us, but you know. It’s cool to hope! ^_^
Right now Sam and I have been teasing each other all band. ^_^ I wrote “Stacey rocks your socks,” and he changed it to “Sam rocks your socks,” so I made it, “Sam SMELLS.” XD Then he changed it to “Sam SMELLS good like flowers,” and this went on for awhile. Today I wrote, “Sam<Stacey” on the board. I wonder when Kaz will yell at me.
MARCH BIRTHDAYS;
Me: 3/6
Kenya: 3/6
Patrick: 3/8
Tori: 3/16
Nicole: 3/22
I don’t know who Patrick is, so that’s cool. XD But I need to start thinking about Nicole’s gift. I got Tori one of those safe sex kits. XDDD
Coffee ice-cream is calling me!

Come on. At least let me go 5 minutes without severe depression creeping back into my system? Please? Maybe I should just wrap a rope around my neck.
I shouldn't be allowed to sit still or think. It's whenever I start to think...

XD No one comments in my journal anymore. ;_;
I'm going to go take a nap. Today it was supposed to snow 6 inches and I would have gotten a snow day. They SAID SO. 6-8 inches in the Detroit Metro area(that's me!). But instead it snowed like AN INCH. Not even. God.

I was going to try typing with the home row keys, but it's too damn painful. I guess I'm going to write a real update... I haven't really since Nathan died.
A few weeks ago, Mrs. MacGregor told the algebra class of a crisis she had. Middle schools in the area do after-school clubs--"Math counts." Dorky, isn't? They get together after school and do--well...math. Then, around February, the teams compete! The first one is small, pretty easy, you know. They had trouble with it, previous years, with turnout. Because it was the weekend of Solo&Ensemble Festival, it was hard for people to make it. This year, they made SURE to schedule around that. -_- Guess what came up? A wrestling meet. No one could come! So... I get drafted last minute on Friday. Sadly, we only got 3 out of the 4 students we needed.
^___^ So, this morning I got up and went to the Marriott. It was full of kids from all schools and stuff. Kawthor--the girl whom accused me last year of sexually abusing her (because of my bisexuality and my aunts' lesbianess) was there with her sister, Hafsa. Whatever. I got a cool blue shirt with a matrix on it that says:
MATHCOUNTS Infinite possibilities....."
My group was with Kaley and Jon. Kaley and Jon are both really neat. I was really able to be natural around them. The first round was 30 questions, 40 minutes. Alot of it was easy, but I skipped a bunch of questions that I couldn't answer. I missed the part of seventh grade where they teach us Pi, so I couldn't answer ANY involving circles. It came time to pass them down, so we passed them to the end of the row.
Donut break! ^_^ When Mrs. MacGregor heard us talking over the hard questions with eachother, she was so proud. XD We went back in for the second part of the test. Getting a bunch of gifted young teenagers to sit down is like herding cats. >P I drew caricatures of Jon and Kaley and talked to people.
The next part was the "lightning round." GASPUH!! XD We all had WAAAY different answers for some of them, though. There was one that said, "Zan takes 5, doubles it, adds one, doubles it, adds one, doubles it, adds one, doubles it, etc. Phong takes 5, adds one, doubles it, adds one, doubles it, etc. What is the difference between their answers after eight calculations?" I had 49, Kaley had 1279 and Jon had 8.
After that was the group thing. Someone from a group of 5 joined us. It was REALLY hard, but we got the answers to all of them. The hardest in that one probably was, how many answers could you get for the equation (x-2)^(25-x^2)=1? We didn't get it. The answer was 2, of course. Dominic, the stranger, assigned us all questions, but we ended up swapping. XD
We had pizza after that, and soda. ^_^ I got MD! We were allowed only 2 pieces, but my eating schedule has been weird lately so I snuck 3rd. I figured it was okay since I took it from a pizza no one would take anything from--mushroom and green pepper. It wasn't bad. There was half an hour wait for the people to finish grading, during which time Kaley left for her swim meet. Mostly, I ran around talking to people and chillaxing. Somewhere around then I got tired, and I fell asleep before everything started. I woke up in time to see the last round, though.
Lisa came and got me, a little late. I was hanging with my teacher, making a wineglass sing. ^_^ We went to the co-op and got some dried papaya and talked with the sweet Chilean man there, then went home. I logged on and wrote this.
Well, that's all, really. I'm off to get new shoes! Mine are dilipidated and leaky.

Nathan died this morning.
He died of leukemia. I held onto Kenya and cried and cried. A teacher helped me say the Kaddish. I could barely speak.
